Limits & Privacy

AI room redesign limits, photo privacy, and refunds

This page exists so you don't have to guess. It covers what a result is (and isn't), what happens to a photo after you upload it, and how credits and refunds actually work — written conservatively, not as marketing copy.

Visual Boundaries

Results are visual directions, not construction plans

Visual directions, not construction plans. Measure twice before you buy anything. Every result this tool produces is a style direction applied to a photo of your room. Specifically, it is not:

  • Not a size or fit guarantee. No measurements are taken from your photo or of any furniture shown. If a sofa looks right in a result, that is not confirmation it fits your actual floor space.
  • Not a construction or renovation drawing. Results are not to scale, are not annotated with dimensions, and are not something a contractor can build from.
  • Not a price or budget guarantee. Nothing shown implies a real-world cost for materials, furniture, or labor.

Where it goes wrong most often

From our own testing, one failure is worth knowing about before you upload:

  • Ultra-wide and fisheye shots can invent architecture. When a phone's ultra-wide lens bends the walls and ceiling, the model can read that curve as a real feature of your home and build on it — in our tests a flat-ceilinged bedroom came back as a vaulted attic room that does not exist. If your phone has a standard lens option, use it, and treat any arched or sloped ceiling you did not expect as a rendering artifact rather than a design suggestion.
  • Very dark, blurry, or heavily grainy photos are declined before you pay. The quality check runs first and costs nothing; if it turns a photo down, no credits are spent and you can retake it.
Your Photos

How we handle uploaded photos

What we do today: your uploaded photo and the results generated from it are stored so the tool can show them to you, let you compare directions, and let you come back to a project later without re-uploading.

Deleting your photos: we intend for account deletion to remove your stored photos and results. Until that is fully confirmed on our end, if you want a photo or result removed sooner, email support@skybringup.com and we will remove it manually.

Model training: we do not use your photos to train our own models. We have not finished confirming our upstream AI provider's data-handling policy in writing, and we will update this page once that confirmation is in.

If any of this changes, this page changes with it — we are not going to quietly loosen a policy stated here without updating the text you are reading.

Credits & Refunds

What happens when a generation fails

Credits are spent when you confirm a generation, not before. If that generation fails outright, the credit it would have cost is refunded automatically — you do not need to file a support ticket or ask for it back. A failed attempt should never quietly cost you a credit.

Free credits (3 on sign-up) and purchased credit packs do not expire. Subscription credits refill on your billing cycle under the terms of that plan — see Pricing for the current numbers.

Cost Transparency

You see the cost before you spend it

Every generation shows its exact credit cost — and your remaining balance after — before you confirm it. Quality tiers cost different amounts because they do different amounts of work: preview is 1 credit, standard is 2 credits, and HD is 3 credits per direction. Free sign-up credits can create watermarked previews; clean Standard and HD files require a paid pack or active subscription. A locked tier cannot be submitted, and nothing is charged silently in the background.

Free credits create watermarked previews. Clean Standard and HD output unlock after a paid pack or subscription.
